The Membership is comprised of all the Volunteer Firefighters of the Mayne Island Fire/Rescue, except the Fire Chief and Deputy Chief. The purpose of the Mayne Island Volunteer Firefighters Association (MIVFA) is (a) To raise funds and provide financial support for firefighter functions, (b) To foster firefighters and community spirit through organized events, (c) To provide encouragement and support for firefighters and their families.
