Fire Permits are now available from the Fire Hall.

Beginning 2011 all Fire Permits must be obtained from the Fire Hall.

 

This is to simplify administration of burn permits and to reduce staff time required to process and verify permits

Mayne Island Fire Rescue currently runs a fleet of six apparatus:
-One UL listed triple combination pumper 1000 gal.
-One UL Listed Tender/pumper - 1500 Imp gal.
-One Tender/pumper - 1700 Imp gal.
-One Tender only - 1500 Imp gal.
-One Rapid Attack 1st response/brush fires 250 gal.
-One Command Unit utility truck 150 gal.
