When these signs are posted, outdoor burning is not allowed. This applies to open fires, incinerators, or any other outdoor appliance that may produce sparks or that burns woody material. This does not apply to gas fired barbeques or appliances that burn briquettes.
There is no open burning from July 1 to Sept 30.

Outside these dates, conditions are constantly monitored. The Fire Chief is mandated to make decisions based on this information and implement restrictions as necessary

MODERATEText Box: Outdoor work and activities are regulated according to forest fire danger ratings.
When the fire danger rating is:  

MODERATE

all high risk/industrial activity work may be performed ALL day: Maintain a 1 hour Fire Watch after work.

Even in MODERATE fire risk conditions fires can start. Please continue to use caution when working within or near grasslands and forests. 
Maintain a 1 hour fire watch following work using flame, spark, or heat producing equipment and where there is a risk of metal equipment parts contacting rock which may produce sparks.
After three consecutive days of "Moderate" fire threat, maintain a fire watcher after work for a minimum of one hour. Continue this until after the fire danger threat falls to "Low".
